Vivência de Autocuidado da Pessoa Idosa na Transição póspandemia COVID-19

Objetivo: Compreender a vivência de autocuidado da pessoa idosa na transição pós pandemia COVID-19. Método: Estudo qualitativo fenomenológico, realizado em uma cidade do México, de março a dezembro de 2021. A amostra foi intencional com 8 participantes, determinada pelo critério de saturação da informação. Os critérios de inclusão foram: homens e mulheres com idade de 60 anos ou mais, vinculados a grupos comunitários de idosos. Análise dos dados: Realizada através do círculo hermenêutico: Pré-compreensão, Compreensão e Interpretação. Todos os participantes deram seu consentimento informado. Resultados: Os depoimentos permitiram apreender seis temas: Medidas de proteção e cuidados físicos; Consciência de ser pessoa idosa; Cuidado diante da infodemia; Ser cuidado pela família e cuidar do outro; Aprendizagem após a pandemia; Autocuidado presente no vivido da pessoa idosa. Conclusão: A pessoa idosa transita na temporalidade do seu cuidado, não podendo estar separada em um antes e depois, mas sim, uma compreensão de ser pessoa idosa no cuidado de si ao longo de uma fase de aprendizagem e interiorização do próprio cuidado.
